Hobby Boss  US YF-23 Prototype Airplane Model Building Kit

This is a HobbyBoss 1/48 Scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the Northrop YF-23, an advanced Gen-5 twin-engine tactical fighter aircraft developed for the United States Air Force and one of two finalists in the USAF's Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF) competition, in which the Lockheed YF-22 emerged as the winner of the competition. Two YF-23 prototypes were built with the nicknames "Black Widow II" and "Gray Ghost. Model kit features: Kit offers crisp surface features, fuselage molded in upper and lower halves, fully appointed cockpit and wheel wells, engine ducts, detailed undercarriage and segmented canopy. Decals and color painting reference for a single hypothetical USAF aircraft: s/n 12-0203 - includes instrument display panel markings. Over 90 parts on 4 sprues, lower fuselage, and upper fuselage.
