To celebrate its namesake's Colombian heritage and Colombia's storied cycling history, Hincapie Sportswear has released a series of accessories featuring the three colors from the country's flag with design elements that can only be described as jubilant. The Es Pasion Rain Shoe Cover is the line's entry for rain-repellent foot protection, and it meets the goal for both form and function. For function, the shoe covers are made from fabric that has been treated with AcquaZero to repel water. They are breathable and insulating and include an auto-locking zipper up the heel to facilitate getting them on and off. The bottom has openings to accommodate most external road cleats and the pads on the soles of most road shoes. To celebrate Colombia, one bootie is primarily red and one is primarily blue, two of the three colors on Colombia's flag.
