This Hi-Tech Duravent Super Vac-U-Flex series PVC duct hose is made of clear PVC (polyvinyl chloride) with an external gray fiber reinforcement for resistance to moisture, ozone, and oil, and is suitable for material handling, vacuum and suction, or exhaust and ventilation applications. The hose is reinforced with a coated spring steel wire helix for strength and resistance to crushing. It has a temperature range of -20 to +150 degrees F (-29 to +66 degrees C) and can be used with a variety of coupling options (not included). This PVC duct hose is suitable for ventilation and transferring a range of materials in bilge pumping and ventilation applications, metal fabrication, electronic equipment manufacturing, and other industries.

T = Temperature (maximum and minimum temperatures of material being transported)

The inside diameter of the hose must be adequate to keep pressure loss to a minimum and avoid damage to the hose due to heat generation or excessive turbulence. The hose must be capable of withstanding the minimum and maximum temperatures that occur within the hose system. Some applications require specialized oils or chemicals to be conveyed through the system. In this case, hose selection must ensure compatibility of the hose tube, cover, couplings and O-rings with the fluid used.
