The 3-9x40mm TB-ML model is the most versatile of all the muzzleloader hunting scopes on the market today. It is also one of the toughest, insuring years of trouble free service. More than 1,000 rounds were shot with a wide variety of modern.50 caliber in-line ignition rifles and saboted bullets during the development of this scope. Much of that shooting was conducted to determine precisely where the longer range 200.225.and 250 yard reticles had to be located to insure proper shot placement at those ranges with the hotter loads and sleek saboted polymer tipped spire-point bullets now favored by serious muzzleloading hunters. Hi-Lux Optics knows that not everyone shoots loads with a muzzle velocity of around 2,000 f.p.s., or the highest ballistic coefficient bullets. The manual that comes with this scope includes several charts that share the ranges where these same reticles will print a variety of loads at muzzle velocities of 1,600 f.p.s. to 2,000 f.p.s., with various bullets having a.145 to.260 b.c. Like all Hi-Lux Optics scope models, the TB-ML scope features lenses that have been polished to photographic quality, with all air surfaces fully multi-coated to insure maximum light transmission. Other features include reliable Tri-Center coil spring tension on the erector tube; positive 1/4" click windage and elevation adjustment, and Fast Focus ocular lens.
