Excerpt from Helps to Bible Study: Proper Names and Their Definitions, From Cruden's Concordance to the Old and New Testament, and From Young's Analytical Concordance
This little book is a compilation designed to help students of the Scriptures, who, in their endeavor to gain the spiritual meaning, have learned the value of the definitions of the proper names in the Bible.
These definitions are taken from Cruden's Concordance and from Young's Analytical Concordance, and all definitions given in either concordance will be found in this book.
The pronunciation is taken from Young's Analytical Concordance. For a further help the "Symbolical Language of the Scriptures" is included.
These helps are put in convenient size and form for ready reference and the book is offered to the public only in the spirit, of a desire to aid in this important study.
