Aluminum dock plates from Industrial Toolz are a great low-cost solution to bridging the gap between trucks and semi trailers and your loading dock. Constructed from high grade aluminum "diamond deck" material, dock plates feature bolt on steel legs that help to secure the position of the dockplate between the dock and trailer when loading and unloading. Dock plates are NOT to be used with power equipment such as fork trucks. Use dockplates with hand trucks and pallet jacks ONLY. Depending on the size and capacity of your dock plate, one or two people can move the dockplate by simply picking it up moving it in place using the built in hand cutouts. Standard lip bend is 11 degrees and standard lip length for dock plates is 11 in. DOCK PLATES ARE FOR USE WITH FOOT TRAFFIC ONLY.
