Simply peel off the secure 3M backing on our 10" flexible rubber heater (rated over 350F) and stick to the bottom of your 10-12" kettle vacuum chamber. Our digital temperature readout will quickly stabilize to your desired temperature and hold it within +/- 1 degrees Fahrenheit. Now you have the temperature control of a vacuum oven while using only 250 watts of power! Since vacuum ovens use around 1500 watts of power, this results in a large power savings.

Another major feature of our Kettle Companion is our Direct Conduction Heating. Our heater covers the entire bottom of your kettle and heats the entire area uniformly, transferring heat directly to your materials. Most vacuum ovens have heating elements and temperature sensors mounted to the sidewall of the chamber and then use a fan to blow the heat around. How can a fan blow air around if all the air has been removed by the vacuum? This often results in hot spots.
