Rich colors and hypnotic movement make this a mesmerizing fabric covered book in shades of dove gray, graphite, gold (not metallic), sky blue, plum, black and dark purple. Between the very sturdy cover I have bound 120 pages (front & back) of thick natural white art paper that has a nice tooth (texture) that is perfect for graphite, colored pencils, charcoal, markers pastels and can handle light wet media - the thick pages would also be good for photos or other mementos and altered art . They have been sewn with hand waxed charcoal gray cotton thread, the exposed threads at the outer spine features tiny randomly spaced frosty gold glass beads. I've also built in a black satin bookmark to hold your place and will also come with a black elastic band to hold the book closed.
