Hallmark Keepsake Spring Ornament Suburban Shopper Midge 35th Anniversary 1998

The Midge doll, who made her debut in 1963, soon became the best friend of everyone's favorie fashion model, the Barbie doll. This year Midge turns 35 and enters the Keepsake Ornament collection wearing a full- skirted dess complemented by a "straw" cartwheel hat and matching totebag. Described as being "just right" for a Saturday morning visit to the Farmers' Market, the "Suburban Shopper" ensemble was offered from 1959 to 1964.
