HRT Music Streamer Pro

The Music Streamer Pro from High Resolution Technologies is an even-higher-still performance USB Digital to Analog convertor. It is designed to provide the Professional Audio market with a pristine performance bridge between a computer-based music library and a professional audio playback system. The Music Streamer Pro offers the same advantages as its less-expensive siblings, such as 24 bit / 96 kHz capabilities and asynchronous transfer mode operation with jitter performance that exceeds that of conventionally connected bi-phase (SPDIF, TOSLINK, AES/EBU) D to A convertors. As with all HRT products thus far, the Music Streamer Pro uses a proprietary on-board power supply which completely regenerates and isolates power for both digital and analog stages resulting in an absolutely silence of background noise, hiss or hum. The Music Streamer Pro, like the Music Streamer II+, uses the more sophisticated TI PCM 1794 DAC supported by a fully balanced analog circuit that is optimized in terms of board layout and chipset to achieve even higher performance than the Music Streamer II+. The Music Streamer Pro, with the professional audio standard of 4.5 volts of output, is nominally intended for professional audio use, but can easily crossover into consumer audio by using suitably designed balanced components or by adapting the unit for single ended (RCA connectors) usage.* *Note: A mini-XLR to standard XLR adapter or mini-XLR to RCA adapter is required for consumer use.
