HKK DC060CCL1 ANSI C2060H Single Strand Heavy Series Connecting Link, Standard Type, Double Pitch, Cottered, Carbon Steel, 1-1/2" Pitch, 0.469" Roller Diameter, 1/2" Roller Width (Pack of 5 links)
The HKK double pitch cotter connecting link for use with standard type single strand roller chains is made of carbon steel and is suitable for a broad range of operational environments, including farm equipment, paper mills, and mining. It is manufactured with solid rollers, solid bushings, and through-hardened pins. Its cold-forged solid construction minimizes elongation and wear caused by friction, thereby extending the life of the link.
HKK€s solid roller and bushing manufacturing process minimizes distortion under heavy loads and helps prevent foreign material from accumulating under the rollers, minimizing downtime and replacement costs. The link€s bushings, rollers, and link plates are shot peened to reduce fatigue and resist adverse environmental conditions caused by temperature, dust, and moisture.
The HKK double pitch standard type roller chain has a pitch (distance between roller centers) that is twice that of a single-pitch roller chain, resulting in lower weight and operating cost than a comparable chain of the same strength. It is well-suited for slow- to moderate-speed drives and long-center shafts. Standard-type chains are used in conveyor assemblies. Double pitch roller chains and their connecting links meet American National Standards Institute (ANSI) B29.1 standard, making them dimensionally interchangeable with other ANSI chains.
Roller chains are commonly used as a power transmission component and are composed of four parts: plate, roller, bushing, and pin. A series of cylindrical rollers are held together by side links, which fit together into a toothed wheel called a sprocket. Connecting links are used to join the two ends of the chain together to form a loop. Roller chains range from simple, mechanical drives such as bicycle chains, to complex power transmission products that drive conveyors and other industrial machinery, such as printing presses and farm equipment.
HKK Chain manufactures roller chain for use in a variety of industries, including agriculture, mining, and construction. The company, founded in 1916 and headquartered in Pine Brook, NJ, makes its products in a company-owned facility in Tokyo.
