As an added bonus, it is also harder and more durable than standard nickel-silver fret wire, so your fret job will not only look great, but will also last longer! This fret wire is both wider and higher than standard "medium" fret wire - see the size specs for exact dimensions. This fret wire can be used to repair/replace frets on an existing electric or acoustic guitar, electric or acoustic bass, cigar box guitars, or other standard-to-larger sized stringed instrument, and it is also great for new instrument building. The dimensions are as follows: Crown Height: .055" (1.40mm), Crown Width: .090" (2.29mm), Tang Depth: .062" (1.47mm).
