The Gray Glassy Tiger, also known as the Wood Nymph (Ideopsis juventa) is a species of nymphalid butterfly in the Danainae subfamily. This butterfly is dark gray or black with two rows of circular white dots along the margins of its wings and any elongated white patchs closer to the body. The elongated white patches appear to radiate from the thorax and have a slight pale blue tint. **Please keep in mind that these specimens are dried and unspread (as shown), meaning the wings are closed. These specimens are useful if you want to use their wings only (for artwork, fairy dolls, jewelry) or simply to study them for science. In order to spread moths for mounting and display, simply search online on how to hydrate the butterflies to spread their wings. You will receive a specimen similar to that shown Each specimen is approximately 1.5" unspread (3" spread)
