Grandpa Beck’s Golf Card Game | A Fun Family-Friendly Strategy Game | Enjoyed by Kids, Teens and Adults | From the Creators of Cover Your Assets | Table or Travel Game | Ideal for 2-5 Players Ages 8+
The goal of Grandpa Beck's golf is to get the low score, just like in playing Golf. We hope you enjoy the great golf theme, the fun illustrations, and the interesting play dynamics. It is enjoyed by all ages, from young kids to adult. Please go to grandpabecksgame.com to see a short video demonstrating the game in less than two minutes. In this game, all players have nine cards, face down on the table in a three by three grid. Each turn players draw a card from the draw pile or the discard pile and choose where to place it in their grid, with the goal of lowering the face value of the cards in their grid. You need to work two strategies at once. The first strategy is to keep all of your negative scores in one part of your grid. Then, strategically place the cards with values between 3-8 (the Par and Bogie cards) to try and arrange them into rows of three of a kind. If you can do so you eliminate that whole row and get a bonus. The first person to get their cards all face up signals the end of that hand and may earn a bonus for doing so. But each player gets one more turn, and if they can meet or beat the score of the player who went our first, that caused the first player to get a penalty instead of a bonus and provides a lot of dynamic fun at the end of each round. This custom deck is optimized with different quantities of each card to maximize the fun. There are 12 each of the 3-8 cards to make it more likely to find groups of three of a kind. This game plays well with two players or up to five players. We would love to hear from you to see how enjoy our family favorite game. If you could leave a review on Amazon, that would be great.
