Description:
Gotideal Battery-Operated Smoke Detector reacts more quickly to visible smoke released by smoldering fire and flaming fire,and suitable for fire alarm in house,factories,shopping malls,hotels,restaurants,office buildings,teaching buildings,banks,libraries,warehouses,etc.
Install and Test:
1.Open the smoke detector, take the battery into the battery box, the smoke detector comes into operating state.Indicating LED flashes once per 40 seconds,once per 1 second at alarm state.
2.Select proper place (normally mounted on the center of the ceiling),fix the mounting base,then put the smoke detector into the base and turn it.
3. After installation, press the test button for 5 seconds,the detector will give out sound.
4.Inhaling a puff of smoke/cigarette and blow out it towards the smoke sensor. Repeat this step several times untill the red light flashes, then the detector will beep loudly to alarm.
(NOTE: The testing must be done under a relatively closed environment. If the environment is widely open, the smoke will soon disappear in the air and can not reach the concentration to trigger the alarm.)
Notice:
1.Please clean the smoke detector by soft brush per six months to assure the detecting sensitivity. Pay attention to switch off power before clean.
2.If the smoke detector is not used for a long time, remove the detector, take out the battery from the cabinet and store it in a cool and dry place.
3.The detector can reduce the happening rate of disasters. But it can't guarantee a hundred percent safe and heighten vigilance and safety consciousness to yake preventive measures.
