Just use the Garden Wizard Border Finish Kit to close the connector gaps on your terminating rock wall. Each kit comes with a single peg stake to hold the blocks in place (stakes can work on flat surfaces or be driven into the ground by sliding a piece of metal or rebar into the sleeve).
