The start time of the day cycles are easily customizable to the customers preferences. It has an internal clock whose time is adjustable via the menu setup buttons. Helps with time orientation for the period of the day, without the need to know the exact time. The clock runs using the AC adapter that is included. However, there is an internal battery that maintains the time when unplugged, so that when you plug it in either for the first time or after it is unplugged for any reason, it will display the correct day of the week and the current cycle of the day (i.e. morning, afternoon, evening or night).
