A general surface insect spray or spot treatment. Applied with a sweeping motion over a surface. Especially effective for treatment of cracks and crevices. It is effective against fruit and drain flies. Disrupts the normal development of immature cockroaches, drain flies, fruit flies, and stored product pests including numerous species of moths and beetles. How Gentrol Aerosol Works The IGR (insect growth regulator) in Gentrol Aerosol provides preventative action, since it disrupts pests' normal development. (S)-Hydroprene, the active ingredient, prevents pest larvae from progressing to the adult stage either causing sterility of adults or preventing the emergence of insects from the pupal stage preventing future infestations.
