Then you push the button again. The meter can be read in two different scales. From　0 to 10 milliGauss (mG), which　is the most　common way of using the meter. If you want to measure very　subtle EMFs, then hold the button pressed and measure　EMFs between　0 to 1 mG. The meter creates a buzzing sound starting at 2 mG. The buzz gradually changes to a higher and higher pitch.
