Gatekeeper socket for Drop Bolts of Gates and Garage Doors (for 1/2" bar)

Gates are only as effective as the drop bolts which hold them in place. Most drop bolts are secured into a hole or a pipe in the ground which become compacted with dirt and debris. The drop bolt is no longer held securely in the ground and is less effective in keeping the gates closed.

The Gatekeeper secures gates in both open and closes position, using the gates own drop bolts, so there should be no need for bulky, expensive and unattractive alternative.

The Gatekeeper is spring loaded, so it closes over when the drop bolt is removed, preventing dirt and debris entering. This allows the drop bolt to drop fully so it holds the gate in position securely.
