The Gama Sonic Rechargeable Lantern and Flashlight DL-792LS is a portable light and a versatile household utility item. The rechargeable flashlight has two modes: set it to 24-LED mode to use it as a small work light for up to 6 hours on a full charge or set it to single high-beam mode as a bright LED flashlight for up to 35 hours on a full charge of the battery. The unit also has a backup compartment for three standard AA batteries, allowing you to keep using the rechargeable light in situations when you are not able to recharge the battery. To charge the 4 volt lead-acid battery, just plug in the DL-972LS with the included UL-rated, 5W AC adapter and leave it needed. Rest easy knowing that leaving the AC adapter plugged in will fry the battery, there is a built-in overcharge protection that stops current from flowing to the battery once it has been fully charged. In the event of a power-outage, the rechargeable lantern will automatically turn on. For worldwide travelers, the adapter can handle up to 230-volt input, meaning you can take the light with you on trips outside the United States (though you will need a prong converter for the adapter to fit non-U.S. electrical outlets).
