GX Circulating Nucleic Acid Kit uses novel technology for purification of circulating nucleic acid from the large volume (2-10ml) of plasma or serum by using a single mini column and obtains the high quality of DNA in recovery in the small volume of elution (60-100µL). The purified DNA can be directly used for the different downstream applications: PCR, real time PCR, Southern blot, genotyping and sequencing. By using this novel technology, PCR inhibitors such as protein and lipid contamination are eliminated, which results in high purity of the extracted nucleic acid. In addition, a large volume (2-10ml) of plasma or serum purification by using GX Circulating Nucleic Acid Kit can be automated by QIAcube with Standard QIAcube protocol for QIAamp Blood DNA Mini Kit after initial pelleting and resuspend pellet with 200uL of PBS.
