GN 712 Series Steel Type S Cam Action Indexing Plunger without Lock Nut, with Safety Rest Position, M16 x 1.5mm Thread Size, 35mm Thread Length, 10mm Diameter

GN 712 cam action indexing plungers are used in applications where the plunger must not protrude continually. When the cam is turned by 90 or 120 degrees in a counter-clockwise direction, the plunger is moved through a curved opening in the body. Then, the plunger is retracted. Depending on the type, the plunger is secured against accidental operation (Type S). In order to move the plunger, Type S safety version requires an additional lifting of the lever. Type S/SK: After turning the lever counter-clockwise 120 degrees to retract the plunger pin, there is a secure rest position for the guide pin holding the retracted plunger pin, via the spring, in place. Pulling up, turning the lever clockwise and releasing the lever allows the plunger pin to protrude in its normal position. Stainless steel versions available upon request.
