G.I. JOE: Star Brigade III: True Peace Versus False Peace (Kindle Worlds Short Story)

As the USS Defiant covertly investigates Yukonai imperial space to explain their sudden and vicious terror attack on the Haken people, the Joes learn of an interstellar terror group known only as Cobra being responsible. Moreover, this group is learned to be ageless, asymmetrical and cellular in its organizational size and nature, and possesses various, even competing, ideological rivalries. It also has many cell/network leaders, all known as “Cobra Commander.” The Joes discover that this massive chaotic group may very well represent one of the most dangerous threats to the entire human universe – especially earth. Concerning this particular mission and its peaceful goals, the Joes have their knowledge reemphasized regarding the lesson on the fundamental difference between a true peace and a false one, and how evil can cleverly blur and manipulate them in order to destroy the unvigilant good that crave peace at any cost whatsoever – especially if that peace is a lie.
