LOw-FRIction Style "04" (LOFRI-04) high-tech stick-on soles can be attached to the existing soles of most dance shoes, street shoes, cowboy boots, and flat-soled sneakers, to reduce friction on sticky dance floors. Shoes outfitted with LOFRI soles allow dancers to pivot and slide with ease on sticky indoor dance floors without the dreaded effect of "torquing" their knees. As is explained in detail in the included instructions, LOFRI-04 is configurable for use either on
(a) moderately sticky, high-friction dance floors indoors, or on
(b) very sticky, very high-friction dance floors indoors and even for concrete and asphalt outdoors.
However, LOFRI-04 is not meant to be used on studio-quality, well maintained wood dance floors, for which conventional suede soles are the most suitable solution.

LOFRI-04 components can be attached to most flat-soled shoes in a "peel-and-stick" manner: just remove the liner on the back of the components and stick them onto your shoe sole. Detailed instructions are provided.

Limitations and recommendations: While LOFRI-04 will stick securely to all shoes with flat soles (even high-heeled ladies' shoes, when applied to the flat area at the very front), it is not well-suited for fitness shoes with agressive profiles, such as running shoes. For those types of shoes, we recommend our sister product LOFRI-DIY. The DIY version comes without adhesive backing but with TWICE the number of parts, enough to outfit TWO pairs of shoes. The DIY version has to be glued on with conventional glue. While this is less convenient, it allows LOFRI-DIY to be used even on shoes with aggressive profiles.
