It is the sun-warmed colors and joyful esprit of provincial France that inspires our 2015 wall calendar, from the pastel-washed Old Town of Villefranche-sur-Mer to the perennially seductive Provence, where we follow the winding roads of the Luberon, with its majestic lavender fields and painterly ocher-hued villages. The year also includes stops in Bordeaux, where we visit Chateau Figeac; in the Auvergne, where we stroll through the private gardens of an aristocratic estate; in Burgundy, with an afternoon at an 18th-century village home; and in a bucolic woodland west of Paris where we discover a 1900s artist's cottage by the Seine.
