The form fitting cover protects against dust, moisture and impact so there’ is less concern when putting it in a large camera bag full of other items. The cover is reversible from black to gray and will fit Prosumer/Pro DSLRs with Zoom lenses, when using larger than standard lenses you may need to get a larger cover to accomodate. This size will not fit cameras with a battery grip.
