Forster Products NATO Chamber Headspace Gage, Rimless, Hardened Steel, Precision Ground, 7.62 NATO Maximum

The MAX gauge is used to measure the absolute maximum allowable, safe chamber headspace. This is the original USGI max spec of 1.6455" and should only be used on GI chambers calling for this spec and only with GI 7.62x51. Not for use on any rifle firing .308 Win. If the bolt closes on the MAX Gauge it is considered unsafe and should be taken out of service for repair. This gauge ships only in the USA, No export or APO/FPO.
