The refractive Hitech Soft Gold filter uses the latest developments in materials and technology to soften outlines and enhance flesh tones, removing blueness and facial blemishes without distortion. Tiny particles within the skin tone enhancing matrix bounce incoming light onto the reverse face of the glass filter. Total internal reflection projects the light into the camera Lens, refracted by the glass, softening and enhancing the tone of the image but without losing contrast. The Soft Gold filter is available in grades 1, 2 and 3 and is ideal for both video work, and for wedding and portrait photography. This filter is one of a range of 4mm glass filter designed to fit both standard 4 Inch matte boxes for video and film, but also the Hitech Photographic 100mm Modular Holder. The holder is designed to accept the Wider glass filters as well as standard resin filters, allowing for the use of filters which cannot be made in just resin.
