Fireplace Hearth Cast Iron Fireback - Oak Tree

One of the more elegant accessories for a fireplace, this Oak Fireback will not only deflect more heat into the room & help protect your back firewall, but will also keep your fireplace looking attractive when there is not a blaze going. Ornamented with an OakTree & Landscape design, this Fireback will lend a natural, organic look to any firebox it inhabits. Recommended for this are the Boot Stands (offered as a separate item) to lock this Fireback into a vertical position. The Boots are NOT an essential purchase, but are needed if you want the Fireback to stand without leaning against the hearth wall. Note that the Stands have an opening in the body to allow one to set the legs of your Fire Grate into them for a more completed look & additional stability. Distributed stateside by Woodfield. Fireback is composed of quality Cast Iron & finished a Matte Black. Fireback measures 15 1/2" High x 18" Wide x 1" Thick (~1/2" thick at the minimal relief). Vertical 'Breaking-point' is 12 1/4". If purchased, the Standard Boot Stands will add approximately 2" to the overall height of the Fireback.
