This 1960 Relic Telecaster Custom from the Fender Custom Shop sports an alder body, a relic'd nitro lacquer Chocolate 3-Tone Sunburst finish, and classy top back binding to cater to the authentic aesthetic. The quartersawn maple neck is carved into an early '60s oval C shape to provide that old-school Fender feel while the superbly playable 9.5 -radius slab rosewood fretboard carries narrow jumbo frets, a micarta nut and dot inlays.

Fitted with a pair of Custom Shop Hand-Wound Twisted Tele single-coil pickups, the 1960 Relic Telecaster Custom will serve up all of that time-tested Tele twang, tone and snap that made the original Teles legendary. The traditional control layout consists of a Master Volume control, a Master Tone control, and a 3-way pickup switch that features an aged white top hat tip.
