There is one tiny, blemish on the neck that is shown in the photos.The Fender American Vintage 72 Thinline Telecaster brings together vintage Tele design, sound and feel with current technologies and processes, and reengineers it for today's players.ConstructionAlthough it shaped to the classic Telecaster silhouette, with its semi-hollow design the Fender American Vintage 72 Thinline Telecaster is lightweight and offers a decorative f-hole, showcasing the instrument's partially hollow construction. This model also swaps out the usual alder for ash, which offers a brighter tone and exceptional sustain, while the thinline shape accentuates the guitar's natural twang. The body has been finished in Candy Apple Red with gloss lacquer, complimented by a four-ply white pearloid pickguard. Bolted to the body of the Fender American Vintage 72 Thinline Telecaster, with a period-correct three-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt adjustment, is a maple neck with a "C"-shape profile. At one end of the neck is a vintage-style Stratocaster strings-through-body hardtail bridge; while at the other are a bullet truss rod nut and a set of vintage-style "F'' tuners at the headstock.
