The new Faro G2 Active Noise Reduction (ANR) is designed for pilots who take flying seriously. Using the newest sound technology, G2 Active noticeably reduces cockpit noise up to 52 dB. So you can fly longer, more comfortably, in a quieter environment. It has everything you would want from an aviation headset.
Extra Comfort for long cross-country flights. Made of soft, durable fiber, the cushion makes the headset feel extra light. The cushion is a universal size that fits snuggly onto your head and makes your flying experience that much more enjoyable.
Featuring an advanced fully adjustable microphone beam with wind screen which allows ATC and your companions to hear you loud and clear. The Faro aviation headset utilizes front electret technology which provides great noise cancellation, and the microphone has been perfected to deliver high-quality crystal clear communication. These features will ensure that no one will mishear another important word in any conversation you have while airborne.
Soft leather ear protection provides you with an amazing 23 dB in passive noise reduction, and additional 29 dB of active noise reduction for a total of up to 52 dB. G2 Active headset comfortably protects your ears while providing maximum defense against sound distortions from the outside such as cockpit engine and wind.
Bring your favorite songs on board! Simply plug-in the heavy duty 3.5 millimeter auxiliary cable (included) into your Faro headset and take the joy of flying to a whole new level. The Faro headset lets you enjoy music anywhere you go. Now you can hum to your favorite tunes thousands of feet in the air without missing a single verse or beat of the sound track.
Faro G2 Active reduces the unwanted ambient noise in the cockpit by using both Passive Noise Reduction (PNR) and Active Noise Reduction (ANR). Passive Noise Reduction is achieved by placing sound absorbing material between your ears and the outside environment. Active Noise Reduction is achieved by placing a microphone inside the ear cup to 'read' incoming noise and generating an 'antiâ€noise' signal through the speakers. The antiâ€noise and the ambient noise will cancel each other before they reach the ear. Through this technology, low frequency ambient noise is significantly reduced and important communication can be heard in a clear, crisp manner. The best part is that the G2 headset will continue to operate as a standard aviation headset should the ANR become inactive for any reason such as low or no battery power.
