The FabLife Gait Belt with Safety Quick Release Buckle is a very easy and effective aid to use while lifting or transferring people with limited mobility. The safety quick release plastic buckle is great to use for patients that need to be frequently moved, or in clinics where care is given to multiple patients. The buckle features a cover plate which adds security and prevents the buckle from an accidental release. Caregivers are often recommended to use gait belts to help transfer patients, as lifting them up from under the arms can be straining for the caregiver and the patient. For the caregiver, a gait belt is a back-saving device as it decreases the risk of back injury and prevents strain.

To use easily place the belt around the person you need to move, secure the buckle in place and you're all set to move the person.
