FIT-GFR (Iohexol) Kit – An Iohexol ELISA kits to measure glomerular filtration rate (GFR)

BioPAL offers FIT-GFR (ELISA) kits designed to measure iohexol concentrations in collected blood and urine samples to obtain an accurate glomerular filtration rate (GFR) value. The kit is a competitive ELISA and contains iohexol concentrate for standards, rabbit iohexol antiserum, goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP, HRP substrate and stop reagents, an iohexol 96 well coated plate, two plate sealers, FIT-GFR iohexol kit manual and documentation. For GFR studies, the kit supports both the UV/P and the blood clearance protocols for generating a GFR value. Depending on the protocol chosen, the kit can support up to 15 GFR measurements. The kit does not include iohexol-for-injection. Recommended dosage can be found in the iohexol kit manual. The kit provides a sensitive assay that exceeds other methods to measure iohexol and can detect iohexol at a concentration of 10 ng/ml. Two additional buffers (Standard and Sample Diluent and Wash Buffer) that are required for performing the ELISA, but are not included in the kit, are also offered for on-line purchasing.
