It efficiently reduces solid waste and leftovers in the water due to overfeeding, as well as reduces odors associated with decaying waste. Exo Terra Biotize Waste Degrader and Water Conditioner includes four strains of micro-organisms, selected for their ability to biodegrade proteins, fats, carbohydrates and certain hydrocarbons. It only contains Class 1 micro organisms, which are classified non-pathogenic.
