Essence of Shia Faith

“Essence of Shia Faith” is an english translation of "RISALA Al-AFTAQADIA" written by Islamic scholar SHEIKH ABU JAFFER BABWAY AL-QUMMI better known as SHEIKH SUDDOOQ. Explanation of the text is provided by Ayatulla Muhammad hussain Najafi.

This book is prepared primarily for the European readership, which are either working or studying at the Universities and the others, who are newcomers to Islam or interested to learn more about Shia school of thought. Shias of Ahlul-bait have long suffered under the totalitarian regimes of Banu Omiyya and Banu Abbas. If we unfold the pages of history, we can find a long list of atrocities against the followers of Ali Ibne Abi Talib.
