Enerpac ZU4408SB Universal Electric Pump with VE43 Solenoid Valve Liquid Crystal Display 115 Volts and 8 Liters Usable Oil Capacity
The Enerpac ZU4408SB hydraulic electric pump has a 1.7 horsepower motor and a solenoid valve for powering hydraulic cylinders or tools and providing high-speed, intermittent-duty, remote hydraulic power in construction, manufacturing, and maintenance and repair applications. The 1.7 horsepower motor has a high power-to-weight ratio and can operate at low voltages. The four-way, three-position electric VE43 solenoid valve can be controlled remotely and is suitable for lifting applications. A liquid crystal display (LCD) with built-in hour meter shows torque, pump diagnostics, cycle count, and low-voltage warning information. A low-voltage pendant switch controls the motor and valves, and the switch has a 10-foot cord to allow the operator to control the pump and valves from a distance. The pump's auto-cycle feature provides continuous operation of the torque wrench when the advance button is held down. An adjustable pressure relief valve helps protect the pump from overload. The pump's steel reservoir resists corrosion and wear, and the motor and electronics are covered by a molded composite shroud to help protect them from contamination and wear. The non-conductive carrying handle is for transport. A low-voltage pendant switch controls the motor and valves, and the switch has a 10-foot cord to allow the operator to control the pump from a distance.

Hydraulic pumps lift, bolt, or apply pressure to objects by pressurizing and moving hydraulic fluid. A hydraulic pump consists of a base, a reservoir that holds hydraulic fluid, and an operating mechanism, such as a handle or foot pedal, an electric motor, compressed air, or a gasoline engine. When the operating mechanism is activated, pressurized hydraulic fluid from the reservoir is delivered through an attached hose to a hydraulic cylinder. The pressurized hydraulic fluid in the cylinder lifts the cylinder€s piston, which in turn lifts the load. Hydraulic hand pumps are usually made of steel, or aluminum and nylon, and can be single-speed or two-speed. They are used in a wide range of applications, such as construction, manufacturing, and maintenance and repair applications in both industrial and home settings.
Enerpac manufactures industrial hydraulic equipment for lifting, workholding, and other applications, and provides integrated lifting solutions for bridge construction, mining, shipbuilding, and other industries. The company, founded in 1959, is headquartered in Menominee Falls, WI.
