Enerpac SCR-252H Cylinder and Pump Set with RC252 Cylinder and P392 Hand Pump
The Enerpac SCR-252H cylinder and pump set includes an Enerpac RC-252 single-acting hydraulic cylinder and an Enerpac P-392 hydraulic hand pump and is suitable for driving a hydraulic system. The cylinder has a 25-ton capacity with a 2.00" stroke, holds up to 10.31 cu. in. of hydraulic fluid, and operates in any position. Single-acting cylinders use liquid pumped through a single port for rod extension and an internal spring for rod retraction to produce continued movement. The cylinder is made of steel for durability and has a baked enamel finish for corrosion resistance. It contains a pre-tensioned spring for retraction speed and GR2 bearings for wear resistance. A plunger wiper helps inhibit contamination. The CR-400 female coupler connects the cylinder to the pump. A dust cap covers the port when not in use. The base of the cylinder has holes for mounting. The hand-operated, two-speed pump has glass-filled nylon reservoir and a nylon-encased aluminum base for corrosion resistance and a fiberglass handle for non-reactivity. The reservoir holds up to 55 cu. in. of hydraulic fluid. Two-speed pumps typically require fewer handle strokes than single-speed pumps for efficiency and optimal flow. The handle displaces 0.687 cu. in. of fluid per stroke at 200 psi (pounds per square inch) or 0.151 cu. in. per stroke at 10,000 psi. The handle locks for carrying. An internal pressure relief valve helps prevent overloading. The cylinder weighs 14 lb. and measures 6.50" high when collapsed. Its effective area, or the surface area of the piston rod face, is 5.16 sq. in. (The amount of force a hydraulic cylinder can produce is equal to the hydraulic pressure times the effective area.) The pump weighs 9 lb. and has a maximum operating pressure of 10,000 psi.
