Enerpac P-50 Single Speed Low Pressure Hand pump with 5000 Pounds Per Square Inch
The Enerpac P-50 low-pressure, single-speed hydraulic hand pump is for lifting, bolting, or applying pressure with a hydraulic cylinder (sold separately) in intermittent and non-repetitive construction, manufacturing, and maintenance and repair applications. It can advance and release a single-acting cylinder. This single-speed hand pump is for applications with a constantly applied load. It pumps oil using both forward and reverse handle strokes, which improves efficiency when there is limited mounting space. An external load release valve and internal pressure relief valve help protect the pump from overload. The pump can be operated in either the horizontal or vertical position. The pump has a 1/4" National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads port for connecting to a hose or gauge (sold separately).
Maximum operating pressure | 5,000 psi |
Maximum oil displacement, per stroke | 0.29 cubic inch |

Hydraulic pumps lift, bolt, or apply pressure to objects by pressurizing and moving hydraulic fluid. A hydraulic pump consists of a base, a reservoir that holds hydraulic fluid, and an operating mechanism, such as a handle or foot pedal, an electric motor, compressed air, or a gasoline engine. When the operating mechanism is activated, pressurized hydraulic fluid from the reservoir is delivered through an attached hose to a hydraulic cylinder. The pressurized hydraulic fluid in the cylinder lifts the cylinder's piston, which in turn lifts the load. Hydraulic hand pumps are usually made of steel, or aluminum and nylon, and can be single-speed or two-speed. They are used in a wide range of applications, such as construction, manufacturing, and maintenance and repair applications in both industrial and home settings.
Enerpac manufactures industrial hydraulic equipment for lifting, workholding, and other applications, and provides integrated lifting solutions for bridge construction, mining, shipbuilding, and other industries. The company, founded in 1959, is headquartered in Menominee Falls, WI.
