Endtyme
Endtyme is Cathedral's day in the sun. Completing the unfinished business of Black Sabbath circa the threateningly dense Sabotage, the band sways with charming sleaze on "Melancholy Emperor" while honoring its original doom-metal commitment. "Cathedral Flames" and "Alchemist of Sorrows" urgently push forward tight riffs played on strings that sound like they were made from bridge cables. This is unbelievably heavy music that swings.
