Active Waste occurs when AV devices are left on, but not being used, for example when children go out to play and leave the TV on, or someone falls asleep relaxing in front of the TV. The Embertec Emberplug AV has a range of flexible options to meet your own lifestyle needs. These include 1 or 2 hour delay settings (before your system will warn you of imminent powerdown), and 8 hour temporary setting - MusicmodeTM - which is ideal for parties or extended use of audio (stereo) equipment only. Certain models have a dimmer capability for the LED warning light. This BedroomModeTM is ideal for bedrooms to avoid light disturbance to others in the room who might be sleeping. Installation is simple, and Embertec's smart patented technology ensures that all types of equipment would work as intended. The Embertec Emberplug is designed to be fixed to a wall outlet, with an optional permanent screw attachment to avoid unintended disconnection and lost savings. Your existing powerstrip can be safely connected to the Emberplug.
