Eaton Weatherhead C5506X4 Carbon Steel SAE 37-Degree (JIC) Flare-Twin Fitting, Swivel, 90-Degree Elbow, 1/4" JIC Male x 1/4" JIC Female
This Eaton Weatherhead C5506X4 steel 90-degree swivel elbow has a 1/4" JIC 37-degree female flare swivel end and a 1/4" JIC 37-degree male flare end to change the direction of flow between pipe and tubing. The flare ends create a compression seal with a working pressure of up to 5,000 pounds per square inch (psi). The 90-degree elbow fitting is made of carbon steel for durability and resistance to rupture under high pressure and is zinc plated for resistance to corrosion. This Joint Industry Council (JIC) 37-degree flare elbow fitting meets the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) J514 standards for quality assurance and is suitable for use in hydraulic applications such as in hydraulic cylinder lines.
Tube fittings are components used for connecting, branching, terminating, and changing the direction of tubing in pneumatic and hydraulic systems. They are made of brass, stainless steel, polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), and other materials that resist corrosion and wear. Tube fittings have various types of connections, including threaded, welded, barbed, and push-to-connect (also called one-touch). Push-to-connect connections do not require tools or sealants. Tube fittings are used in various applications, including machine tools, airplane and truck controls, and automated production lines, among others.
Eaton manufactures electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical power equipment. The company, founded in 1911, is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland.
