EKM Metering iSerial - TCP/IP to Serial Converter

The EKM iSerial v.2 is our preferred converter for connecting meters to the web. It converts the meters reads, that income via RS-485, to Serial that can depart to the internet via ethernet.

The iSerial is our preferred converter for a couple of reasons:
1) It is versatile and easy place - It can be located anywhere that is convenient for a connection to the meter(s), and conveniently located for a connection to a TCP/IP(ethernet) network.
2) Flexible access - Any computer, anywhere on a local area network(LAN) or, if the network is connected to the internet, anywhere in the world, can read and configure the meter using our FREE EKM Dash software.
3) Connect up to 256 daisy-chained meters to a single iSerial, connect the iserial to an ethernet network, and the meters are ready to read remotely. No on-site computer is necessary.

For metering options check out our other listings on Amazon. We recommend our EKM Omnimeter line of meters. These are our Universal submeters and are a great solution to nearly any metering need.

If setting up the remote meter reading system sounds too daunting, let us help you. We will pre-configure it for you to make your setup as easy as possible. The iSerial comes pre-configured for 1200 baud. If you are using the EKM Omnimeter the device will first need to be converted to 9600 baud.
