The Drillco 1400 series taper shank drill bit is made from high-speed steel with a black oxide finish and has a 118-degree conventional point for drilling a range of materials. The taper shank drill bit fits into Morse Taper tool holders. It maintains torque and provides accurate, centered placement in the tool holder. High-speed steel (HSS) provides hardness for wear resistance, and the black oxide finish reduces wear while promoting chip and coolant flow.
