Dowelmax joint configurations and sizes can be single, double and triple row, flush, offset, mitre, and face joints, from 1" x 1" to 1" x 12" and from 2" x 2" to 4" x 12". The patented design coupled with rigorously maintained manufacturing tolerances of +/-.001 inch for the 36 aluminum, brass and steel components making up the kit ensures that the Dowelmax is accurate and repeatable from workpiece to workpiece and through any adjustment. The Dowelmax Kit is a professional quality, precision engineered joining system that is intended to last a lifetime.The Dowelmax Kit weighs 3.20 lbs and is 3.5" x 3.5" x 2.75". The main body of the jig is polished 6160 aluminum and the drill guide material is carbo-nitride hardened (60 Rockwell @ .015" deep) and black oxide coated steel. All Dowelmax components are manufactured and assembled in North America.
