District ST-3 Bars Red XL 26 high x 22 wide
District ST-3 Bars are an oversized scooter bar with an oversized 1 3/8 inch outer diameter and a 1 1/4 inch inner diameter. ST-3 Bars are steel bars that require a shim (sold separately) and an oversized clamp. Oversized steel bars offer the strength needed to handle the stresses of big tricks at the skate park and are intended to be used with HIC compression only. The oversized inner diameter must be used in conjunction with an HIC shim, which allows you to use these scooter bars with any threadless 1 1/8" fork on the market. District ST-3 Bars come with a slit in the bars, which is required when using HIC compression. Made by a high-end manufacturer like District Scooters, you can be sure you will be pleased with both the quality and price point of these scooter bars. Scooter bars are typically made out of one of two materials, steel or aluminum. Aluminum scooter bars are light weight and ideal for beginner to intermediate street riders, as well as park riders who are not catching big air and putting tremendous stress on the bars. Steel bars are heavier than aluminum bars, but provide additional durability to take on the stress of hard landings on big air tricks in the skate park. Scooter bars also come in multiple widths and heights. We are often asked about the ideal height and width for riders, which is a difficult question to answer, as it is often left up to rider preference. As a general rule, the width should be shoulder length apart. Height will vary by rider preference. Keep in mind that, when using SCS compression, the SCS clamp will raise your bar height 1 ½ to 2 inches.
