Engineered to perform smarter, harder and faster, while delivering an unbeatable combination of power and weight, the Bosch RHH181 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless 3/4-Inch SDS-plus Rotary Hammer Bare-Tool features Bosch's innovative brushless technology package and new chiseling functionality to tackle multiple applications with one tool. The new hammer delivers the ideal combination of drilling and chiseling in a light weight and compact size, while the brushless EC motor technology extends tool life and increases tool efficiency. The Bosch technology utilizes integrated on-board electronics and new Bosch EC brushless motor technology providing up to 65-percent longer run time and 30-percent more power, eliminating limitations of conventional motors and significantly reducing the need for tool maintenance. The RHH181 rotary hammer lasts longer and runs cooler with the integrated Electronic Motor Protection (EMP) to protect the motor from overheating. The new Rotary Hammer can drill more than 150 holes (1/4-Inch x 1-1/2-Inch) in concrete with one battery change. The RHH181's best-in-class size to weight ratio allows for ease of operation for the user and ensures necessary impact is still delivered. The 3-mode selector switch lets users choose between rotary hammer, rotation only and chisel mode. The Vario-Lock rotates the chisel into various positions for chiseling work at any angle. Additional features include an LED work light to illuminate work areas during low light applications and large soft-grip handle for reduced fatigue during extended use. The Bosch RHH181BN includes: (1) Bosch RHH181BN 3/4-Inch SDS-plus Rotary Hammer and (1) Exact-Fit Inlay Tray. Bosch Exact-Fit Tool Inlay Trays are designed to work with the Bosch L-BOXX system and hold individual tools in place with room underneath to store tool accessories. The battery and charger are sold separately.
