Our deep-cut ship auger drill bits are specially designed for deep, smooth cuts in utility poles, railroad ties, pressure-treated lumber, and frozen or wet wood. These auger bits have a spurred cutting edge for fast and even cutting as well as a course, burr-free lead screw for quick, on-target starts without material build-up. The unique twist design allows for clean chip removal even in the deepest cuts. Manufactured by Wood Owl the steel is heat treated and hardened for durability.
