Death on the Test

When Henry Trevelyan receives an invitation from an old university friend for a week of fly fishing and dinner parties on the river Test in Hampshire the last thing on his mind is murder!

Any thoughts of trout, champagne and exciting conversation are soon shattered when the body of the local landowner, Sir Charles Mottram, is found in the river. The local Police Inspector believes this to be a simple open and shut case but as he stumbles across more pieces of the jigsaw with the help of Henry things are not quite as simple as they first appear. With a host of suspects, dark secrets and local feuds the Inspector is soon baffled and turns to Henry and his eccentric friend Uncle Monty for help. With the number of victims rising and lack of new clues can the Inspector uncover the truth behind the killers motive and reveal their identity?
